Industrial DB Build & Commercial Lighting Upgrade

This Durban project brought together two of our most common scopes in a single mobilisation: a full distribution board build-out for an industrial workshop, and a commercial lighting upgrade for the offices attached to it. The previous DB had grown organically over time, with unlabelled circuits, mixed brands of breakers and no surge protection.

We stripped and rebuilt the board around a clean Schneider rail layout, added proper surge protection, and re-terminated every circuit with numbered identification. On the office side we replaced an aging fluorescent ceiling grid with LED panels and integrated emergency lighting and exit signage to current standards.

Every circuit was tested, the DB schedule was printed and laminated to the inside of the door, and we handed over a short maintenance guide for the new lighting. The whole job was scheduled around the site's operating hours so production was never disrupted.
